Movie Central, through the Corus Made With Pay Fund, is proud to play a key role in the development, licensing and broadcast of Canadian films, investing in acclaimed features such as Paul Gross’ Passchendaele, Atom Egoyan’s Adoration, Don McKellar’s Blindness, Sarah Polley’s Away From Her, and David Cronenberg’s Eastern Promises. In addition, Movie Central has helped develop an exceptional slate of original drama series for television, including Durham County, ZOS: Zone Of Separation, The Line, and ReGenesis.

Movie Central also licenses feature films for broadcast, providing a crucial viewing platform for Canadian feature films after their theatrical release. Titles include the upcoming Barney’s Version starring Paul Giamatti and Dustin Hoffman, One Week starring Joshua Jackson, and Fifty Dead Men Walking starring Ben Kingsley.
