Kassie, a single woman in her early 40s, decides to have a baby through a sperm donor over the objections of her best friend Wally. At Kassie's insemination party Wally accidentally makes the switch. Years later when Kassie returns to New York with her son, Wally struggles with revealing the truth and the risk of losing his son and the woman he secretly loves.
