In Season 3, Durham County focuses on a task force that covers crimes along the 401 highway corridor. Mike Sweeney (Hugh Dillon), now the Superintendent of the Durham police precinct, is on this force and is investigating the murder of two young drug runners. As Mike and his team investigates this case, one of their own officers struggles to bury a dangerous secret. Meanwhile Audrey and Sadie embark on a new chapter of their lives and Mike must push himself beyond his limits to overcome a sudden tragedy that may tear his family apart forever.
